Foxcroft Friends 2023 Fall Kick-off

Dear Friends,

Happy Fall, neighborhood Friends! I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful summer and have successfully started a “new” year.

We have a busy fall planned for you. Based on the enthusiasm and attendance of the past two years, we are continuing Food Truck Fridays this fall and spring. In addition, we are planning for the annual Coffee Kickoff, Halloween Party, Carriages and Carols, Adult Holiday Party and our new spring Egg Hunt.

After three years without annual dues or charging for most activities, we need to refill our coffers. Foxcroft Friends covers the Halloween Party and Annual Coffee as well as other incidentals such as food truck minimums. We also have minor operating expenses.

Rather than charge a membership this year, we are asking for a donation from families interested in our events. The recommended family donation for the year is $40. Donations may be made via Venmo @FoxcroftFriends Thank you to those who donate!

In other news, we are looking for volunteers to fill several positions! Please reach out to foxcroftfriends@gmail.com if you are interested.

Friday, October 13: Wheelz Pizza

Tuesday, October 31: Halloween Party

Friday, December 1 or 8, (tbd): Adult Holiday Party

Sunday, December 3 or 10, (tbd): Carols and Carriages

This is my final letter to Foxcroft Friends, as I will be moving on at the end of the year. It has been a great privilege to meet so many of you and contribute toward making this neighborhood a special community. I look forward to seeing you at upcoming events!
